Via MetaFilter comes this little tidbit on how bubbles in beer actually flow downward. I think I will celebrate my newfound knowledge tonight by drinking a pint of Guinness and then reading some Brendan Behan. Slainte!

An Ergodic Walk 
If only I could bring my delicate gay palate to put up with the taste of beer. I think this is the first time in 4 years that I haven’t been accosted by drunk WASPs and Jersey boys who’re channelling a Celtic heritage that has heretofore remmained unclaimed.
Oh well. I suppose Pakistan has SOME advantages. ;)
