I am here for the Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers, and it’s quite beautiful, as you can see! This is my first time coming here, despite 9 years in California, and I am looking forward to the program, which starts with a plenary by Frank Kschischang on optical communication.

I will blog a bit more about it after my long-overdue Allerton recap.
