Obviously it’s clear I’m a big nerd, but thinking back on the wonder that was Square One, I am astonished at how much work they put into their cultural references/parodies. You can dance if you want to… as long it is the Angle Dance!

Square one was my favorite PBS show when I was a kid. I learned stuff from that show that they taught to me in school about 5 years later.
There was actually another show at 4am on PBS that showed some Chemistry and Physics at college level which I would watch also, but I can’t remember the name.
Plus they had all those celebrities! It turns out one of the actors (Reg E. Cathey) was on the Wire. Square One was his “big break.”
