I saw the teaser for the new Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy movie (starring Mos Def?), and was underwhelmed. I mean, I will of course go and see it unless I hear that it is a complete travesty. The news about MirrorMask, Neil Gaiman’s film project with Dave McKean, is much more exciting though.

Mos Def as Ford Prefect? *shudder*
I’ve heard he’s a good actor… and Amrys says some guy from The Office is playing Arthur Dent.
Huh. Yeah, I recognize him. “The Office” strikes me as a show that could be very funny if I could ever hear any of it. Whatever they did when recording the sound makes it almost unintelligible.
Still, a worthy successor to Simon Jones (who I saw relatively recently in a Boston performance of “Waiting in the Wings” also featuring Lauren Bacall).
